Your Questions, Our Answers

A thoughtful place to land before you begin. Everything you've wondered about working with us — from the practical to the personal — gathered here with care.

Getting Started

Who is Repaired + Restored for?

We were built with children, women, and families in mind, the people quietly carrying so much, often without the time or support to tend to their own health. Whether you're a mom navigating your family's wellness, a woman who has been dismissed too many times in conventional care, or a parent looking for gentler, root-cause answers for your child, you belong here.

I've been told "everything looks normal" but I don't feel normal. Can you help?

Yes and this, honestly, is why Repaired + Restored exists. Conventional labs are designed to catch disease; they often miss the nuanced, functional patterns that explain why you feel the way you feel. You deserve to be heard, believed, and actually investigated. We'd be honored to do that with you.

WHAT MAKES YOUR PLACE DIFFERENT?

We practice functional and integrative care, which means we're curious about the why behind your symptoms, not just the label. We look at the whole person: nutrition, stress, sleep, hormones, gut health, environment, and the beautiful, complicated story of your life. You'll be met with time, attention, and a plan that actually fits your life, not a 10-minute visit and a prescription pad. And honestly, because I have been the patient who needed this and could not find it. So I built it.

How do I know which service is right for me?

If you're feeling unsure, you're in good company; most people are! Here's a gentle guide: Virtual Sick Visit → A one-off acute concern (sinus, UTI, rash). The Grove Membership → Ongoing support, community, and everyday access. Deep Dig Restoration → A complex, chronic issue you're ready to truly unravel.

And if you're still not sure, just reach out. We'll help you find the right starting point.

When are you officially open for patients?

We're soft-launching in June 2026 with a small, intentional group of early patients and opening officially in late August 2026. If you'd like to be among the first to know when the doors open, you can join our list through the site.

Our Clinical Approach

What does "functional and integrative care" actually mean?

Functional medicine looks upstream at the root causes of why you feel the way you do. Integrative care gently weaves the best of conventional medicine with evidence-informed lifestyle, nutrition, and mind-body practices. Together, they allow us to honor your whole story, not just the symptom that brought you in today.

What are your credentials?

I've been walking this path for more than two decades. My foundation is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salisbury University (2000), a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Pediatrics from the University of Maryland (2006), and a Post-Master's specialty in Women's Health (2009).

As my practice evolved, so did my training; I completed the Institute for Integrative Nutrition program in 2020 and completed the Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner (IFMCP-M) program in 2024. I have had the honor and privilege to study under mentors I deeply respect, including Dr. Dan Kalish and Dr. Elisa Song.

I trained clinically at Georgetown University Hospital, Johns Hopkins, Children's National Medical Center, and the University of Maryland at Baltimore, and have taught nursing students at Georgetown, Children's National, Shady Grove, and Holy Cross Hospital. Since opening my own practice in 2010, I've had the privilege of mentoring 25+ nurse practitioners and caring for more than 15,000 families.

But beyond the letters after my name, I want you to know: I understand this work from every side, as a provider, a teacher, a mentor, and as a wife and mother myself. But most importantly, as a beloved daughter of Christ, that's the lens I bring to every visit.

Do you prescribe medication?

When it's truly the right tool, yes. We're trained prescribers and we'll never withhold something you genuinely need. But we also believe that the why behind a symptom deserves to be explored, not just masked. You'll always understand why we're recommending what we're recommending.

Do you order lab work or functional testing?

Yes. We offer both conventional lab work and advanced functional testing (hormone panels, GI mapping, micronutrient panels, and more) when clinically indicated.

VIRTUAL SICK VISITS: Testing fees are separate from visit costs, and we'll always walk you through what's being ordered and why before anything is done.

DEEP DIG RESTORATION: Two functional labs are included in the cost of the program. We often choose GI map or Tiny Health & OATs testing. Other tests can be ordered if indicated. This is discussed at the initial visit.

CULTIVATE AND CLEAR: Convential labs will be drawn and you have the option to use you health insurance for those labs.

Who handles my health records?

Your medical records live inside Charm Health, a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. Our practice manager oversees the health-record and logistics side of things with the care and precision you deserve. Your information is safeguarded at every step.

Can you replace my primary care provider or pediatrician?

For many of our patients, we happily serve as their primary care provider within the scope of our practice. For others, we work alongside their existing PCP or pediatrician as a complementary, root-cause layer of care. We'll talk through what's right for you and your family at your first visit.

Insurance & Payment

Do you accept insurance?

We are a cash-pay practice, which is a very intentional choice. It allows us to give you the time, depth, and personalized care that insurance-based medicine simply doesn't allow for. No rushed visits, no algorithm deciding your treatment just you and your provider.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Yes, we happily accept HSA and FSA payments for our services. Many of our patients find this makes care wonderfully accessible. We recommend keeping your receipts for your records.

Will I be able to submit for reimbursement?

Upon request, we can provide a standard medical superbill, a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so we encourage you to call your insurer ahead of time to understand what may be reimbursed.

Will labs be covered by insurance?

Blood work through LabCorp or Quest should be covered by personal insurance. Standard diagnosis codes are used, which support personal insurance coverage. Lab coverage is separate from any billing from Repaired & Restored. Functional Lab work is generally not covered by personal insurance. Those labs are paid for in advance, and a medical superbill can be provided upon request.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards. Payment is collected at the time of booking for visits and monthly or annually for memberships.

Licensing & Logistics

Which states can you see patients in?

We can provide Functional & Holistic care across all states. Virtual SICK visits are available to patients located in South Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia, with North Carolina coming soon.

Do you offer in-person visits?

Yes, in-person visits are available for well-child and sports physicals in the Rock Hill, South Carolina area. If you're local, we'd love to see you in person. Appointments are limited. If you're outside the Rock Hill area, our virtual services are just as warm, thorough, and personal. They are encouraged before going to the provider's office.

Do We offer multi-child discounts?

Yes, we offer multi-child discounts for virtual sick appointments, in-person well visits, and in-person sports physicals. The discount applies when additional children or a parent is seen at the same appointment as the first child or adult.

How do I book a visit?

Once we're open, booking will live right on our website. You'll be able to choose your service, pick a time that works for you, and complete intake paperwork all in one gentle flow. Some visits may require pictures to be uploaded before the appointment. We'll share the exact steps as we get closer to launch.

How do we communicate?

Initial contact is done through booking an appointment online. For Dig Deep Restoration, we may do a discovery call. After becoming a part of Repaired & Restored, most other communication is done online via the Patient Portal for Sick Visits and Dig Deep Restoration visits or Mighty Networks for The Grove.  There will be other occasions for phone calls and texting. This will be reviewed in detail once you become a part of our family.

Services & Pricing

What is a Virtual Sick Visit?

A $65 single-visit option for acute, everyday concerns: think sinus infections, UTIs, pink eye, rashes, minor illnesses. You book, we meet virtually, and you leave with a plan (and a prescription, if it's needed and appropriate). No membership required, no strings attached. Just care when you need it.

What's included in The Grove Membership?

The Grove is our ongoing care community — $59/month or $590/year — designed for families and women who want steady, whole-person support woven into daily life. (See the founding families discount on the pricing page)

Dig Deep Restoration is our signature functional medicine program, a $2999 comprehensive journey for those ready to get to the root of chronic or complex concerns.

It includes an extended intake, advanced functional testing review, a personalized restoration plan, and a series of follow-up visits to walk with you through the process. This is for the person who has been searching for answers and is finally ready to be truly heard.

Can I combine services?

Absolutely. Many of our Grove members also move into Deep Dig Restoration when they're ready, and sick visits are always available à la carte. We'll help you design a path that makes sense for your season of life.

Grove Membership

Why is it called The Grove?

A grove is a gathering of trees that grow stronger together, sheltering, rooted, quietly thriving. That's the vision we hold for this community: a place where women and families can put down roots, be nurtured, and grow in their health alongside others doing the same.

Is The Grove right for me if I'm generally healthy?

Wonderfully so. The Grove isn't just for acute concerns, it's a proactive, preventive space for women and families who want to stay well, learn continually, and have trusted guidance at their fingertips. Some of our most beloved members are simply tending to their wellness with intention.

Who will I be working with in The Grove?

You'll have access to me (Jamie), our health coach, and our nurse, who helps members turn insights into sustainable, real-life habits. The community itself is hosted on Mighty Networks, a calm, private space that lives outside the noise of regular social media.

Can I cancel my membership?

Of course. We want you here because you love being here. Monthly memberships can be canceled at any time, and annual memberships renew yearly with the option to opt out ahead of renewal. No pressure, ever.
